Music Blog

I am a big music person. I listen to music every day and I love going to concerts. I like any kind of music really which I can sing and dance to. When I was young my favourite was pop but these days my favourite is country music, I’ve even got few pairs of cowboy boots and a cowboy hat. I like to see myself as a cowgirl (yeeehaa).

I have a lot of favourite groups and singers, country and pop groups. My favourite pop group is Westlife and always has been! I even have one of their songs, Flying Without Wings tattooed on my arm! In terms of my other favourite pop music, I like: The Script, Take That, Adele, James Bay, The Fratellis, Peter Anore, S Club 7, Ed Sheeran, Snow Patrol and many more. My favourite country singers\groups are Nathan Carter, Lady A, The Shires, Charles Esten, Tim Mcgraw, Sugar land, Kacey Musgraves, Ashton Lane and of course the queen of country Dolly Parton and many more.

As I said I love going to concerts. I go to concerts every year sometimes a few times a year. I have seen Westlife lots times, so many that I have lost count! and I have seen Nathan Carter, Lady A, The Shires, The Script, S Club 7, Ashton Lane, Charles Esten, Kacey Musgraves and I have met Nathan Carter a few times at his concerts. He is very handsome. I also go to Country to Country, which is big concert with singers from America playing in the UK. I have been going to it a few years now and I love it!  Unfortunately, I haven't seen Dolly Parton in concert, but I hope do so in the future.

I have been in a few places for concerts such as the Hydro, Glasgow Concert Hall, the Fruit Market and many more. All of these places have very good disabled access. However, just one of them has a changing places toilet. So full marks to the Hydro.
The hydro is a fantastic place for a concert. It is really big with a lot of wheelchair spaces where you have a great view of everything. It has a really good changing places toilet which is good, because I feel comfortable going to a concert knowing that I can get access to the toilet.
I really love music and I can't live without it. Looking in the future I would love to find a wheelchair line dancing class and may go to Nashville someday. Yeeehaa!!!
