About Me

  Let Me Introduce Myself 🙋

My name is Jill Clark and I am 34 years old. I have athetoid cerebral palsy, which affects my movement and speech. As a result, I use a wheelchair and communicate using an Accent 100 communication device. I access my device using a tracker dot attached to my head, which works in a similar way to infrared technology.

I live in Glasgow with my mum and dad. I also have a big sister, a nephew and a niece.

I have many interests and hobbies. I love going to concerts, and country music is one of my favourite genres. I am also a big fan of social media. I enjoy swimming and, in true stereotype fashion, I love shopping too! Shopping is always a highlight of my regular trips to Florida.

If you are wondering about the spotted background on my website, that's because I am the world's biggest Mr. Blobby fan!

I am also a volunteer with Clydesider Magazine, where I contribute articles and continue to develop my writing and journalism skills

At the moment, I am studying for the Certificate in Foundation Journalism with NCTJ and Ability Today. I find it fascinating and I am thoroughly enjoying the course.
